Most food and drinks have acid in them that can speed enamel erosion if you brush before your saliva brutalizes it wait at least 30-60 minutes after eating before you brush. don’t know at or drink anything for at least 30 minutes after brushing I now floss and use mouthwash to kill germs before I brush. You’re just washing away the beneficial fluoride when you rinse with water (or mouthwash) Just don’t use a ton of toothpaste, and then let it stay in your mouth when you’re done brushing. you’re not supposed to rinse your mouth out with water after you brush.
